Eight Campuses Across Northeast Florida
Our Academic Dean has more than 20 years of experience in Exceptional Student Education. All of our Campus Directors, Teachers and Staff are equipped with strategies and interventions to provide high-quality, evidence-based instruction to support struggling learners. Our goal is to empower the child to understand how he or she learns and to foster a lifelong love of learning.
At Lighthouse Christian School, we believe smaller class sizes improve student outcomes. Therefore, we structure the size of our classes based on the student's age. Our younger elementary classes have approximately 9 students per class. The older elementary classes have approximately 13 students per class and middle and high school classes have approximately 16 students per class.
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE
We accept the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities and for Educational Options. Combined, these programs provide Scholarships to over 40,000 low-income children in Florida.
The total cost for tuition, registration, books and testing is $10,500 per year. However, if your child qualifies for a Scholarship, it may cover all or part of the total tuition! For the student who needs additional help we have small group tutoring, individual tutoring and speech therapy. We charge additional fees for these services, but find they are well worth it to help students who need special attention. We do have Bible and PE as part of our schedule as we believe academic, physical and Spiritual education all work together because with God all things are possible!

Lighthouse Christian School is a private Christian school in Florida’s First Coast, with campuses in Duval, Clay and Nassau counties.
Lighthouse Christian School is designed for the child who has various learning needs. Many Christian Schools use “college prep” programs that are very fast paced. This type of program can't be concerned about the student who falls behind.
Lighthouse offers a different approach. We are for the type of student who needs to learn differently. We offer smaller class sizes, flexible grouping, and differentiated instruction to support students with learning challenges. Our teachers get to know each child and recognize how he or she learns best. Because of our flexible approach, most of our students are able to earn a high school diploma.
